We use ThomasNet almost exclusively as our marketing arm.
As a leading provider of heat treating services with specialized services and a limited direct sales staff, our challenge has been getting our message out to a potentially broad customer base that we have the ability to heat treat large parts and long slender parts.
We have several logical market segments to whom we direct market, and we do that quite well with a barrage of press releases to trade magazines, social media and direct mail – but after that, it is difficult to reach potential customers who may have need of our services, so we rely heavily upon the web to attract leads. Once we have attracted their attention, we seem to be able to convert these leads into orders quite well.
ThomasNet has served us incredibly well during the past 15 years, by attracting good, sound leads to our website and providing us with the inquiries that we have needed to help us sustain and grow our business.
